Once the tour has ended and you have checked into your hotels, you are free to go explore the souvenir shops or enjoy Ofunato exclusive specialties at the restaurants within the city!
Next day after breakfast, use this time to visit any spot that has caught your interest! For any recommendations within Ofunato, do not hesitate to ask the tour conductor during the tour.

【① Disaster Prevention x Tourism Adventure Game “That Day”】
Find the QR Boxes hidden within Kyassen Ofunato Area. After collecting the designated number of “Wisdom to Live,” aim for the evacuation point set as the finish line of this Adventure Game.

Explore the reconstructed town with a smartphone in hand.
Relive “That Day” to experience the meaning of “living,” and truly experience the value of “life.”

【② Lunch in Ofunato♪】
In addition to areas within Kyassen Ofunato, you are free to have lunch at any eatery within Ofunato! Various kinds of eateries are available, including eateries which provide Ofunato exclusive specilaties.
Kindly ask the tour guide for recomendations.
Don’t forget to use the Ofunato Sampo points that will be distributed to each person taking this tour. (detail listed in ④.)

【③ Sanriku Railway Experience, Tour Spot Guidance】
A fully reserved roundtrip experience of the Sanriku Railway. (Sakari Station to Sanriku Station)
Includes a small stop at the famous Koishihama Station which holds a miniature shrine within the waiting room, decorated with Scallop Shell Ema. (Ema are wooden plaques with individual prayers and wishes written on them, later to be retreived by the spirits.)
Sanriku Station is an ocean-side station with an open view of the Okirai area. We will stop at this staion for a short while so that you can take a walk within the area. Spots such as a hiker’s lodge for those trekking the Michinoku Coastal Trail is also located here.

【④ Enjoy Sightseeing within Ofunato using Ofunato Sampo】
After the explanation of the Ofunato Sampo App, each participant of the tour will be gifted 4,000 points. These points can be utilized in multiple eateries and souvenir shops within the city!
There are many ways to enjoy Ofunato after the tour. You can taste the high quality seafoods prided by the people, enjoy the glamorus natural view, and even interact with the locals.
